Booting into Safe Mode


Often when experiencing problems the need arises to boot into Safe Mode, quite simply only loads the core essentials of Windows Components and never anything additional. This can be especially useful when dealing with a PC Virus or attempting to remove malware. It also comes in handy if you have BSoD’s related to corrupt Windows files or Drivers.

How to boot into Safe Mode in Windows 7:

After seeing the Bios screen begin taping the F8 Key rapidly until the Advanced Options Menu appears. Then simply select Boot in Safe Mode using the arrow Keys and Press the Enter key.

How to boot into Safe Mode in Windows 8/10:

There are 5 methods to boot into safe mode using Windows 8/10 im going to give provide the easiest method.

Click the Power button at the Windows login screen or in the Settings charm. Then, press and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard and click Restart.

When Windows asks you to choose an option Click Troubleshoot.

In the Troubleshoot screen Click advanced options.

In the Advanced Options Screen click Startup Settings.

You are then prompted you will have to restart, click the restart button.

Once your computer restarts it then gives you 9 options including Safe Mode, click Safe Mode and Voila!
